The second annual Red Dress Run is happening on Red Dress Day here in Canada. Show your support as an ally for the Missing and Murdered.

Tanya Talaga was once asked by Alvin Fiddler, “Why did Chanie run?” In answering, she exposed that he ran from the horrendous conditions, systemic oppression, and colonial destruction inflicted upon our people. Today, I ask you: why do we run? We run to honor. We run to remember. And we run as an act of resistance against the ongoing colonial impacts and the persistent devastation of the MMIW epidemic AND support the surviving families. Hope to see you all there ♡

Expect good, positive spirits with all that gather on this Nationally Recognized Day in Canada. A 5 km run or walk is your decision, no pressure to do either, come on out and join us in solidarity for the Women and Girls (Men and Boys) that have gone Missing and or have been Murdered here in the Robinson Superior Treaty area.
